I just bought a new All-For-One Kameleon universal remote because I was sick of the clutter of remote controls on my coffee table. This thing rocks!

I'm finally in. I've learned a few things over the past couple weeks...

1. Moving will always take longer than expected.
2. Driving a UHaul towing a Jeep isn't as hard you'd think.
3. The lady at the UHaul place is an idiot.
4. BizAtomic was VERY organized!
5. Apple + Left Arrow = Back button in Firefox.
6. No matter how much money you feed the dryers here, they will not start unless securely closed.
7. St. Augustine can be quite dangerous.
8. Starting the new job was nowhere near as intimidating as I expected.
9. Coldfusion is like programming "lite" - Rufus could learn Coldfusion.
10. Traffic lights in Daytona take FOREVER!
11. I can't order Dominos after 9 PM because my I have an out-of-area area code.
12. Flash can be fun.
13. There's a dead port on my wireless router.
14. Every third time I order something from BestBuy, it will inevitably be on...

Ran software update and got new iTunes, QuickTime, and 10.4.4. I wasn't really expecting anything exciting. Fired up the old blog to fix a couple problems and I have HTMLArea in Safari now! Awesome!!! Not quite. There are still some weird little bugs that I'm just finding out about. This is the second time I've entered this post. Now I know that you can't switch to HTML mode.

Moving sucks. I Packed the bookshelf tonight. So much more to do. Moving day is approaching quickly.

Wrote a little shell script to clean up the jEdit backup files. Makes navigating in Finder much easier.

I'm stoked about the new job. Also scared to death. I'm sure everything will work out. It's normal to be nervous, right?

I think I'm going to check the blog into CVS tonight. Maybe install a couple for some friends - let 'em break it :) Night.

It's been a while since my last post.

I finally met Amy. Seems like a really nice girl. She has a great house in a really cool neighborhood. Maybe a block from the water, nice trees. Really great place. We decided on a date that I'd move, everything was starting to work out. When I went back to work three days later, I put in my notice. I Also notified my landlord that I'd would be leaving in two weeks. Two days later, Amy calls and tells me that she's getting another job in TAMPA and the room won't be available anymore. Nine days before I'm leaving, she's telling me, essentially, I'm homeless. I basically had one day to find an apartment because nowhere is open on Sunday and I have to work like hell this last week. I am supposed to start the new job next Tuesday so I need to be down there this weekend. I did manage to find a place and I overnight-ed my application and deposit tonight.
